Anybody know what they are without guessing? I emailed the manufacturer(NMB). R/Stock fan No. is 3615KL-04W-B86. They told me 'cause the're oem no info. So I asked if they could tell which fan was comparible, this is the reply: As I told you the B86 fan was a custom designed fan so I am unable to give you the specifics other than it was a temp. sensing type fan. The standard B10-B70 models as described on the website only vary in CFM rating. With the B10 having the lowest and the B70 being the highest. The B86 fan, had a higher CFM output. The B70 model is only available in at 24 volt version, that is where you will find the sheet. If you need a 12 volt version the highest speed would be a B50. These are the specs from their site on the three highest rated cfm fans the B30,40,50. Neither are temp sensing. Model 3615KL V W Ma Spd RPM dBA CFM 04W-B30-P00 12 3.00 250 3200 36.5 0.23 60.4 04W-B40-P00 12 4.08 340 3600 40 0 0.29 68.5 04W-B50-P00 12 5.52 460 4000 44.5 0.36 76.2 This is their Part # system: I also found this link: www.vorlac.com.au/searchres.cfm?select=13&subcode=453&stock_no=27504None are exact so which one's the closest, is "close" even good enough?

In my XPS Gen1 I had Nidecs, yet Ive heard of newer user's recieving NMB. If the NMB's come with a Thermistor, then you'll never see the Maximum CFM's w/out an override. Proprietary fan specs to Get Dell customers to buy from Dell...and not NmB. NmB's make good paper weights too T.RoW
