First thing to do is get MBMonitor 5.3.7.0. This is a software that monitors Temp. Chips on your Mobo. You'll find detailed Install Instructions/Support on this forum. xpsmodz.proboards33.com/index.cgi?board=overcool&action=display&thread=1086760402======================================= What are the Temperatures in your Room(Ambients) that your XPS is in? What drivers from ATi are you using? Im using the 3.9betas. Do you have Overdrive? Can you tell any Temps on the Card? From what I read on the DCF, your XPS is overheating due to the excess heat buildup from the VGA, CPU.....coupled with the Inadequate Fresh Air Cycle already prevalent with Stock XPS's. ======================================= In the End, this sounds like a heat related issue, one due to the XPS's design failure. You might want to consider a slight modification of your Cooling Situation. You will find many user's here who have done so, and with a multitude of options. Welcome aboard! The most I can Overclock to on Doom3 is @ 429/369. But this is REALLY sensitive to what the Ambient temp is. Plus, Doom3...Carmack even said that VGA that are overclocked would artifact pretty easily.
