Hello, I`m useing a Dell 8300 mobo in a XPS Gen2 case, Fits perfect. My question is the mother board only has one rear fan plug. Can i hook the two rear fans together then plug in without frying the mobo? The fans are 1.8 amps apiece, the 8300 mobo had a 1.8 amp fan also. Thanks.

I would not recommend "piggy backing" 2 fans off of 1 Mobo fan connector.
The powersupply is a much safer choice.
Are these Dell(Nmb, Nidec) Fans? If so, power 1 from the mobo, and the second from the PSU. This is just to be on the safe side.

You also(if you dont already) might need a 3 to 4 pin, Inline adapter. Basically, its so you can piggy back off a 4Pin molex connector, and it has a 3pin extension for your Nidec Fan. FrozenCPU is NOT the best place to get these, try Compusa or a PC retailer first. These also come with most "new" fan purchases, like that of Thermaltake and Galaxy Fans. Hope this helps, T.RoW
