Hi folks!
I have a gen 2 and I have recently started to get in depth with all aspects of the beast. I have installed mbm5 and was stunned when I saw my temps, CPU after about 10mins idle is 98f and 120 to 135 with a load, case temp is 71f idle and 90 to 100 with a load..these temps are not good are they? Fans are all working, however I have no heat sink fan. All input will be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Crank that puppy up with the room temperature at 100F if you truly want to be stunned.....but the temps are about right for a non moded xps of that gen. It looks as if your vid card dumps hot exhaust into the chassis.....there are a various changes peeps have made to the xps cooling here.......so peruse a bit and think on it before jumping in.
