This is some heavy, HEAVY rendering loads! I was never above 30FPS for any of the tests. Pretty cool to watch, neat little Havoc programs to check out.

shizzle TRow, your just full of useful information. Thank you so much. So far, using Omega drivers (2.5.76) I can only get 5315 out of it, stock. I would really like those couple extra points. The 5201 score from before was with Cat 4.9 drivers. I will be interested in seeing these new driver's performance and will post the result pronto....

Score of 5759 running 524/520. I don't know much about timings ( i always thought the core speed was supposed to be higher than the memory speed) and how I should go about OC'ing the most efficiently, so I might just keep things pretty standard. With no OC, i get a 5650.
I think I could break 5800 if I really tried but since I probably won't be able to play at that speed all the time safely, why would I try....? Perhaps later with a better cooler....
Also, whats crazy is that .75fps in a test can give you like a 90 point boost. Thats just crazy....

Theres a number of things you can do to improve your score. If your have a X800XTPE your core/mem stock speeds should be 520/560.
The memory chips are Samsung 1.6ns rated=600mhz*DDR=1.2Ghz
VirusScan and Other Virus programs that run in the background eat up CPU and Memory. Disable Them.
Texture Preference in ATi Settings will also affect your score. Quality vs. Performance yield significant differences.

Ah, but herein lies the problem. The X800XT PCIe is stock at 500/500. Therefore, running 524/528 was as far as I got for the time being. Anything much higher is unstable after about 10 minutes of testing, that is instability that I can't afford.
Thx for the process info, Ill retest without stuff running in the background.
UPDATE: got 5799 just now. Good times! running on the sloppiest settings though....

ATi Silencer 4 will solve your problems, cheap investment for long term usage. Check the Ram Chips as well, see if they have 1.6 or 16 and/or Samsung on them.

Well, I have the PCIe unit, as I am sure you know. Will the VGA silencer be savvy with that particular card?

The ATi Silencer 4 will fit X800 Reference boards, including PCIe. The exception is AIW cards because of extra shiite. This is a PCIe X800XT User who has installed a ATi Silencer 4 and some Results. T.RoW

Thats AMAZING! I didnt know you could do that! Yes, my ambients ARE freezing. Well, like 50'ish when I am overclocking a ton. Its downright cold here at night, but hey, I see that as a natural advantage. What are you guys getting in aquamark? I am not really sure where I should be, but I am at about 70.5K. I could probably get a bit more with some tweaking, but not sure its worth it. I really like the way 05 looks. That makes it nice to run =)
EDIT: I really have to fix how my sensor is set. It never seems to go above 55 when I OC that high but when I logged my temps according to ATITool, it gets to about 65C. Yuck. I am going to hold off on anymore benching until I get my VGAcooler. =\
