Tell me what you guys think of this one. Using the two fans that t-row has illustrated in his mod walkthrough as intake ( cranked up to the max ) using the green shroud. Along with a high cfm intake 92 or 120mm fan int the front position. A vga silencer to channel the hot gpu air out of the case. Top this off with a 120mm blow hole on top.
Opinions?

Please preface my response below with a good deal of humor and tongue in cheek...... Why would you want to cut a big 120mm hole in your case when you could just copy what TRow has done and preserve the stock look to it.... You know the coolest street rods are those that LOOK stock but are anything but stock under the hood. It's your computer and your going to do what your going to do but why? Bubbadubba

I agree.
But if you want to slice up the XPS, please document the process, so others that choose to take that route have a road map.
My Mods are not unique, there a necessity to prolong the life of a system otherwise destined for a short working life.(The Window kit was for flavor...call them 26 inch Rims if you will)
My temps are what motivated me, if your temps are calling for Holes, Dremel that puppy up. Just take Pics, notes, etc...So we can see your craziness. ;D
*You could Cut the Metal, and then Drill Hole Slits in the Black/Blue Plastic if you wanted to stay on the Practical side too!
*Or Cut the Metal, and then add a Cool Fan Cover.
Man now you got me thinking of this, here we go...
