I have MBM 5 running on my XPS Gen 2. I selected the XPS MB when setting it up. I only have CASE & CPU for the main temps and not CHIPSET & MEMORY like I see on your screenshots. How do I add those settings so I can see them?

Mbm Settings>>>>Temperatures Tab>>>>Visual Tab.....
Each Mbm5 Sensor has a "Pull Down" Window You Can Set the Adm1027"....." to Correspond with RIGHT Board Sensor(See Below) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sensor 1: "Chipset"...............Adm 1027-1 (local)
Sensor 2: "CPU" .................. Adm 1027-2(Remote1)
Sensor 3: "Memory" .............Adm 1027-3(Remote2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Instructions at the Top for Labeling the Individual Values.
Notes: Sensor 1 is Chipset Sensor 2 is CPU Sensor 3 is Mem.............To clear up Confusion
And a New Version of MBM is out, But I see no need to Upgrade when nothing is wrong, and its only adding suport for 64 Bit CPU's anyhow.
Good luck, but you won't need it....

I'm attempting to run this on an XPS Gen 4. For the pulldown I have only two settings: none and custom. I don't see Adm1027 listed an option. I've tried choosing XPS and XPS WHL as the motherboard types but no luck.
Anyone got this program working for a Gen 4 system?

MBM is no longer updating its scripts to support next generation chipsets. SpeedFan is a program that may work, but some features I would consider offlimits, and not mess with. For monitoring, its worth a shot. T.RoW

I remember trying both Speedfan and MBM on my Gen3, and the only thing Speedfan picked up was hard-drive temps via SMART. It seems that the Gen3 and Gen4 don't come with the standard adm1027 chip.
It's remotely possible that the Gen 3/4 motherboards have a new sensor chip, in which case you'll have to wait until the necessary driver appears. But my guess is that Dell tried to save a few pennies by not including the sensor.
If you find out anything more then please post.
