Trow,
Can I ask what happened? The job you performed looked awesome. Once you are back in the running, I would love if you could share temps and sound specs. Sorry to hear about the card.

Couple notes:
The NB hooks on the mobo have a Boot detection much like that of the Factory Fans. Without a jumper wire, or the original tension arm in place; the system will not boot.
Solution: Jumper Wire
The v.card bit it because of a leak. Water on the back of the video card; I felt as if God had took my heart from my chest. Thats all I got to say about that.
The stress from the tubing when closing the case was a beast. I had to revert to ribbon cables to get the case closed. Learned a lot about watercooling Do's and Don'ts, a lot ;D
Something interesting. I ordered the exact same card, with same sku, from same retailer. PowerColor X800Pro VIVO. If the card has 1.6ns RAM, then its XTPE time.
CPU: Never goes above 35c NB: Never goes above 29c GPU: Never again will all my base are belong to them.

Played taps and lowered the flag to half mast! If it wasn't a lot of water and didn't do massive damage the card may be reclaimable. On the plus side, the replacement vid card should be a bit cheaper. Next time mount all the components of the water cooling so it all stays on the non opening side. Awaiting arrival of some upgrade components here but none have anything to do with water.

shizzle, that is a mad sweet setup. Can we seem some finished pics when your all done?
If you don't mind me asking, how much did that whole setup cost (you can PM me) cuz I looked at Dangerden solutions a while ago and really dig their new waterblock for CPUs (the next in line from the Maze, it has ripples or something on the bottom). Anyhow, nice job and my condolances on the gfx card.

Cruiser, I don't mean to jump thread here, but did you have to pull the board to mount this? Are you going to use dual fans? Munskitheoldfart

Thanks, I believe Ive reached my limits with this case design. Im contemplating moving back into the ATX sector. Abit or Asus Mobo, Corsair Sticks, Antec Case/PSU. This im giving a lot of thought to. Plus, I could Sell the case+PSU, mobo, and 2x512 sticks if they dont POST. This last bout was enough, Im retiring back to good old ATX land; no more "D"TX.

Nada be gone YET...I'm onto something....seeing as i had to start reworking the cooling config for the new goodies (especially the heat generated by the vid card)......but be warned ...it's strange what works! Currently running at 233 fsb 540/540 vid and the temps are sweet.... now the clincher....it was set up for running on 2 nidecs only but currently it's running on just one as i loanered it to C2's system for testing.....and ittsa handing things just fine. pics n screenshots to follow..but for now default vid settings except for std vid setting to optimum churned out 3dmark2001 22096, 3dmark03 12676, 3dmark05 5778 and aquamark3 68,811.... room temp 23c idle temps cpu 28 adm1027 26 mem 26 hdd (the ide hdd) 28 fan2 5595 rpm. when running both nidecs they were in the 3400-3800 range. and yes .... I removed more stuff!
