I want to overclock my Gen 5 with a Intel 650 3.4 Ghz... I'am new to the overclocking scene and any help would be appreciated

im not totally possitive but i think with the way they have the sata HD's set up it's not really that possible you can OC u're video card but from what i've triend with my gen 4 it just locks up with the slightest boost

you may have just OC'ed it 2 much because you should be able to OC a bit

The video card can be overclocked provided you have a proper way to cool it. I switched to the Arctic Cooling Silencer 4 and was able to get a reasonable increase. If this is the way you go, I recommend using Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. I did not use it the first time I added the fan but two days ago I took the whole thing apart and I'm waiting for the 200 hour breakin before I overlock it again.

i have my X800XT clocked up to 550-585 i've pushed it to 550-600 but since my one fan kicked the bucket the 600 clock doesn't like me

I've seen it at ridiculous speeds with insane cooling methods(liquid nitrogen, freezer case(something like that), etc...but I'm not sure you'd want that in your Dell. Also I'm pretty sure you can't overclock gen 5 because of the SATA's, someone else said this as well. Just be careful with your video card since its probably a very expensive card. I'm not sure why you'd want to overclock your Gen 5. Its already crazy good and new.
