I took delivery of an XPS Gen 3 system last Monday - I'm currently having problems when I want to restart the machine. It basically beeps a few times and refuses to restart. However, a power off and a power on and all is well. I've been trying to call Dell XPS tech support, but to be frank, I'm fed up of waiting in a 30 minute queue. I've ran all the diagnostics that has been recommended through email support but to no avail - I've also been promised someone would call me, but that didn't happen. I'm now considering to call and get it collected for a refund, I understand problems happen - but this really isn't on. Would I have any issues in returning the machine? (UK by the way).

Hey man, sorry to hear about your troubles. I dont know how it is in the UK, but as far as I know you have some 30 days from the delivery to return it with a full refund. Sorry to hear that things are going badly, but i understnd you pain....
