Hello, I would like to swap all the cables inside XPS Gen 3. Could any of you tell me exactly what kind of cable I need to search for?
First, I will explain the component inside my system briefly.
3 X 74GB Raptor 10,000 RPM (Purchased 2 of them as RAID 0 and purchased one more seperately from Newegg.com) 1 X DVD-/+RW 1 X DVD/CDRW 1 X ATI X800 XT 4 GB RAM P4 3.4 GHZ EE
I've already purchased SATA data cable from Western Digital for all my hard drives. I've also purchased enhanced power cable for ATI X800 XT PCIe card.
I am still looking to upgrade all the cables (power & data) other components such as DVD-/+RW, DVD/CDRW, FANS, and etc.
When I browsed web for searching for the cables, I had so many choices and didn't really know which kind of cables, adapters, and sleeves I need to look at. I just want the cables that will look tight & tidy and provide better shielding against EMF and etc.
Also will this affect my warranty service?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

PCToyland has good quality cables for both IDE and Sata. For your Optical Burner Drives, you will need Just (1)24in Dual Device IDE Cables. See Pic for Example. Click on this link, All of the Cables listed on the Page, both IDE and Sata will work perfectly. Just make SURE THAT THEY HAVE 3 HEADS aka Dual Device Cables! VERY Important! See Pic To tighty up the wires, etc.... Nylon Cable Ties work best. No Such thing as TOO MANY cable ties. Cable sleeving well discuss later. Good luck, and please post some picks of your results. I stumbled on PC Cables.com when my local RadioShak wanted $120.00 for some gold plated 3 foot Monster Cable DVI-DVI flat screen cable and $50.00 for a 100 ft Cat5 cable! I got a 4ft. gold plated DVI Cable for $25.00 and a 100 ft. Cat5 cable for $10.00. They have everything on their site. NewEgg is crappy for cables cause the shipping will kill you.
