Will Nvidia GTX SLI setup work with Gen 4? Will SLI setups in general work with the Gen 4 or do I need an SLI motherboard?

No, you will need a Nforce 4-SLI motherboard.
In general, your better off buying a new motherboard, new PSU, new Ram, new case, new cooling, and 2x GTX if your trying to pursue SLi.

I just done it!! i got a 50w psu also a gen 5 motherboard !! then it will work!! i also upgrade the cpu to 965ee!! i guess mind is not a gen4 anymore!! since everything now is gen 5 !! u can get it at ebay cheap!!
