Hi Guys
How does one monitor CPU/Chipset temperature on a Gen 4. I wantend to change the fans that came with it to something more powerful and efficient. Also wanted to use something better than the stock CPU Cooling.
Any reccomendations on all this would be of great help
Thanks.

Finally I have managed to do some mods,
1. Removed a black piece of plastic from the shroud.
2. Reversed 1 rear fan, so now my both rear fans are blowing out.
3. Added a front intake fan
4. removed the HDD shroud
5. Added CoolMaster AeroGate II to monitor temps.
Where is the optimum place to install the case temp monitoring probe? To install the cpu temp probe will i have to pull the heatsink off or something ?
This has been a very informative forum...thanks for all the good work guys.

I put my case monitor probe on the top, to tell me the hottest my case was getting (heat rises). I put the CPU probe right next to the heatsink bottom, where it makes contact with the CPU. Dont put the probe between the CPU and the HS, you'll damage your system big time. Just get it as close as possible, if not touching
