Wanted to post something about it.
My setup.
XPS Gen5
3.8GHZ
2GB 667 MHz Ram
2-74GB 10,000 HD Raid O
160 GB HD
Radeon X1900XTX
SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum
XP Pro
Soon to have the 650W power supply added.
I reloaded XP, removed the benzels and floppy drive and put the house fan in front.
Idle temps went from 50 to 51C down to 46 to 47C.
Game temps went from 74C to 70C and thats stock clocking at 74C to overclocked at 70C.
Then I loaded the new 6.3 drivers.
Then I ran the overclock program in CCC and it went to 689 on the GPU and 797 on the ram, I lowered it to 680 and 790 and ran 3Dnark05 and got this.
9135

Whats funny is the CPU score went down with the new card, maybe the card a a little much for the CPU or the powe supply is get pushed a little much. I will find out when the new one gets here.
This is the 6800 I had when I got the computer.
3DMark5
3851
GT1- Return to Proxycon 18.7
GT2- Firefly Forest 10.7
GT3- Canyon Flight 18.8
CPU Score: 5612
Test 1 2.9
Test 2 4.9
When the new power supply gets here I want to add some case fans to help pull in more air as that seems to be helping keep the card cooler.
I am playing FEAR at 1152x864 with just about everthing maxed out and it's running good.
